The college has established a Women empowerment cell to create awareness of issues related to women.  The cell strive to inculcate the leadership qualities, participating spirit in all developmental programmes of the society with confidence and courage.  A senior lady faculty is appointed as co-ordinator to look after the activity.  The cell organizes lectures and interactive sessions with experts in the field.  It organizes essay writing and other competitions  viz., cultural activities, group discussion on contemporary issues.  The cell also addresses specific problem and grievances of the women students.
