PHYSICAL EDUCATION AND SPORTS

The department of Physical Education was established in the year 1967 in the college and the same batch continued their education in B.A./B.Sc./B.Com during the year 1968, 1969 and 1970 respectively.
Mrs. Kusum Maddali, M.Sc., Lecturer in Physics was the first incharge of the department.

    The sports activities in college take place from 10.00 a.m. to 5.30 p.m.

    Our college students participated in various level competitions like District level, State level, Zonal & Inter zonal and represented university level, National and International Level competitive.

    All the students of our college were categorized into four houses i.e.

    4. Kalpana Chawla House.

    Our college Girls have participated in Inter College Games and Sports Tournament  in Nizamabad in month of November, 26th & 27th, 2014 at Collectorate Ground in the following events.

    2. Kho-Kho.
    3. Volley Ball.
    4. Shuttle Badminton.
    5. Chess.

    Intramural:

    This started with inter class competitions in the following games and sports i.e. cricket, volley ball, kabaddi, kho-kho, shuttle badminton, tennikoirt, chess and carroms.

    This competitions were held between B.A., B.Com,  B.Sc. & B.S.W.  I, II & III year students.
    All there class students have participated with great enthusiasam and True sportsmanship.
